Singer Christopher Maurice Brown was born on May 5, 1989, in Tappahannock, Virginia. Brown became known for his smooth voice, amazing dance moves, boy-next-door charm and controversy surrounding his physical assault of former girlfriend Rihanna. However, being from the Virgin Islands I know first hand that island women are quick to throw ration and reason out the window becuase the majority of them have short tempers. So from understanding that perspective, I believe that Rihanna provoked the incident to the point where Chris Brown fnally snapped back. Now I'm not saying that hitting a woman is right, by all means it is cowardly to physically take advatage of a woman, but if they provoke it enough only time will tell the outcome.

On top of him dominating the R&B genre, he has also taken advatage of the clothing industry with his Black Pyramid cothing line!
